Alabama Criminal/Civil Justice System
- An electronic filing system for Protection from Abuse petitions was developed.
- Specialized courts to handle domestic and sexual violence criminal cases have been established.
- First Responder Programs have been developed in two communities in Alabama.

Alabama Health Care
- Health care model polices were developed and distributed statewide.
- Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence hosted a health care response day in 2002 and a statewide medical conference in 2005.

Education in Alabama
- Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence sponsored numerous workshops for child protection workers, juvenile probation officers and advocates.
- Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence provides on-going training for advocates, social workers, criminal justice professionals, health care
providers, child welfare professionals and community organizations statewide.

Alabama Victim Services
- Over 6,000 victims from rural counties received outreach services from Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence member programs during 2004-2006.
- Increased the level of involvement in the Pardon and Paroles process on behalf of victims.

Alabama Coordinated Community Response
- There are 30 county domestic violence task forces in Alabama.
- Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence provides training and technical assistance to task forces upon request.
