Domestic Violence:

What Will It Take To Stop Domestic Violence?

(Page 3)

Domestic violence has a devastating physical, emotional and psychological affect on the domestic violence victims.  Oftentimes, domestic violence ends in murder.

So, What Will It Take To Stop Domestic Violence?

Entire Insurance Industry Must Get Involved In The Fight To Stop Domestic Violence

Every business and every industry must get involved in the fight against domestic violence.

We are placing emphasis on the insurance industry simply because the President of Life's New Beginnings is a 26 year veteran of the insurance industry and knows that when a professional insurance agent sets his/her mind to do something, it gets done!

Companies like Allstate, State Farm and others are already involved in the fight against domestic violence, but with the personal commitment and involvement of just half of the insurance agents in the United States, great things can happen.

We Must Learn To Answer Two Very Critical Questions About Domestic Violence
  1. What causes a person to intentionally want to hurt or even murder someone who they are supposed to love?
  2. Why does a woman stay or return to a place where she has been physically, sexually, or emotionally abused?
Laws Affecting Domestic Violence Must Be Changed And Enforced

It is important to understand here that noone at Life's New Beginnings is an attorney or had any legal training.  We are not attempting to give any type of "legal" interpretation of the law, but we are reading the law just as we would read our newspaper while sitting out on the deck in the morning.

We have only taken a look at the Tennessee laws addressing domestic violence and would like to share some of that information here. (Continued on Next Page)

We will be discussing some of our ideas on what we think must happen before domestic violence is ever brought under control.  We would also like to hear your thoughts and ideas, but we ask that you respond in the form of an e-mail to:  info@lifesnewbeginnings.org

We at Life's New Beginnings reserve the right to publish or not publish your idea or thought.

Let's Talk! Let's Change! Domestic Violence

This web site was designed for the sole purpose of providing information on the subject of domestic violence.  The web site was neither intended to provide professional advice on the subject of domestic violence nor should information contained herein be used in making personal decisions in your own particular situation (other than the decision to get help). There are many complex issues surrounding domestic violence which should only be addressed by professionals who are trained in this area. You are the only one who can get help in your situation.  There are those who care about you and are concerned for your safety, but their non-professional involvement could possibly make your circumstances worse.  Never let anyone talk you into doing anything that isn't right for you.
