Our Churches and Religious Communities Must Get Involved In The Fight To Stop Domestic Violence

We firmly believe that most people misunderstand and form wrong opinions about domestic violence for the simple reason they don't know exactly what domestic violence is and how it affects all of us.

• We are committed to promoting public awareness of domestic violence through direct mail campaigns, e-mail campaigns, newsletters, bulletins, web site, billboards, newspaper ads and radio and TV Public Service announcements.
• We will also make ourselves available to speak on the subject of domestic violence to churches, community groups, professional organizations and business meetings.
• We will provide resources that individuals, churches, businesses and community groups can use to promote public awareness of domestic violence.
• We will work with every state coalition to bring about the end of domestic violence. 
• We want to help any domestic violence prevention or service program to assist them in accomplishing their individual missions.
• We will focus on getting the entire insurance industry involved in the fight against domestic violence.
• We certainly can't change laws, but we can keep lawmakers informed as to how the citizens of their states and communities feel about domestic violence.
